QLD: French snorkeller dies off Herron Island

BRISBANE, Jan 11 AAP - A 32-year-old French holidaymaker died while snorkelling near
Herron Island off the Queensland coast today, police said.

A spokeswoman for P&O Australian Resorts, operators of the Herron Island resort east
of Gladstone, said the man was found floating in an ocean lagoon near the beach.
